Design Joe Colombo 1959
Joe Colombo designed the shelves system ELLIPSE for his flat in Via Tristano Calco. The system was produced as a box beam and as head and bedside table. Its shape allows a visible and at the same time shielded storage of objects and books. The single module is hung on the wall and can be horizontally fitted or vertically stacked to create a bigger bookcase. The alluminium alloy system comes with a complete module and a half module for a corner solution.
